Doily For Barbie's Endtables I used size 10 crochet cotton, but you can use a finer cotton for a daintier look. Hook #6 Chain 4 join to form a ring. Row 1-Chain 3, make 11dc in ring. Row 2-Chain 3 sc in every other dc. join Row 3-slip stitch to chain 3. In each chain 3 space (1sc, 1 hdc, 2dc, 1hdc,1sc) join. Row 4-Slip stitch to space between the 2dc, Chain 6, sc inbetween next 2dc. around, join. Row 5-Slip st into chain space. (3sc, Pivot(chain 3, sc in 1st chain)3sc) in each chain 6 space. Join End off . Weave in end. |

BARBIE PICTURE FRAME You will need a small piece of colored,7 mesh plastic canvas, matching color yarn. A small picture. (If you have a picture of your favorite Barbie on file, print out about a 1in by 2in picture, other clipart pictures could be used ) After printing your picture lay it on your canvas, cut canvas so it is one row bigger than your picture. (back is made) Then cut a second piece the same size. Take the second piece and cut out the middle, leaving two rows around outside.(front is made) Cut a piece about 3 X 6 squares, depending on size of picture. (stand is made) Take your stand and stitch the short side to just below middle back piece of frame. Then with your back, picture and top piled in that order, whipstitch around outside. There you have a photo to set on Barbie's end table, dresser or wherever. ** For wall pictures do the same with a larger picture, but in stead on your stand, make a loop for hanging on back before putting together.** |
